students for a career in medical coding in an outpatient physician practice or
hospital affiliated physician group practice. The implementation of
ICD-10-CM has increased the demand for certified coders in physician
practices. Individuals completing this course will be better prepared to
pass the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) CPC exam. This
exam provides the foundation for a successful career as a revenue cycle

This 80 clock-hour online course offers content from the

Students should have current coding manuals for their use in
completing coursework: 2016 CPT Professional or Standard Edition, 2016

fee, the AAPC’s CPC Exam fee (voucher to take the exam at a local exam site,
